Gas prices across Louisiana are about 25 cents higher per gallon compared to a year ago, according to AAA.
With the beginning of a new work week and a new month, regular is averaging $2.59 a gallon in the Pelican State, up two cents from last Monday. At this time last year, the fuel was averaging $2.34 a gallon.
