F. King Alexander will be hanging around for a while longer as president of LSU.
The Board of Supervisors acted yesterday to extend King's contract with the university until July 2023. They also signed off on boosting his pay by three percent, which amounts to an increase of well over $610,000 a year.
LSU women's basketball coach Nikki Fargas won board approval of a three-year contract extension at her current base salary of $350,000 per year.
