Serious injuries are being reported as the result of a house collapse in New Orleans' Seventh Ward Thursday.
Authorities say at least eleven construction workers were transported to the hospital after suffering a variety of injuries in the incident on Columbus Street. At least four were trapped in the rubble and had to be rescued.
The collapse occurred while renovation work was taking place on the residence, though the cause of the collapse wasn't immediately known.
