Mistrial Declared In Case of St. Bernard Deputies & Inmate's Death

A judge is declaring a mistrial in the case of three St. Bernard Parish deputies accused in the death of 19-year-old inmate Nimali Henry in 2014.

The ruling comes after former Captain Andre Dominick shot himself after taking the stand in federal court. The judge ordered a mental evaluation for Dominick, who is recovering in the hospital.

Dominick, along with former deputies Deborah Becnel and Lisa Vacarella, were being charged with deprivation of rights for failing to provide Henry with properer medical care while she was in jail.
