New Orleans police are investigating the shooting death of a man outside a Shell gas station in the city's Lower Garden District.
Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of Tchoupitoulas and St. James just before 4 p.m. There they found the victim and a bicycle lying nearby.
The man, whose name has not been released, died from a gunshot wound to the chest with no immediate motive or suspect information released.
