The New Orleans Saints will now be prepping as the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs that begin next month.
That's despite being stomped by the Carolina Panthers 33-14, at the Superdome yesterday afternoon. For the Saints, the outcome had no impact on the playoff picture.
The team will be paired against either Dallas, Seattle or Philadelphia, the divisional game to be played Sunday, January 13th at 3:40 in the Superdome.
