The final day of 2018 is bringing even lower gas prices to the Pelican State.
AAA reports the statewide average price of regular in Louisiana has dropped to a $1.96. That's down about five cents compared to last Monday.
The fuel is about 25 cents cheaper than a month ago and 30 cents below the year ago average price.
