Fans of four different football teams are all in the New Orleans area for the extended New Year's weekend, but there's an argument over who should benefit from the tax revenue.
New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell says the city should get the bulk of the revenue generated from tax on hotel rooms, and it seems that residents seem to side with her.
She says the money, currently earmarked mostly for the Superdome and Convention Center, would be used to improve the infrastructure of the city, such as potholes and drainage problems.
Officials anticipate revenue from the annual Allstate Sugar Bowl will have a $200 million impact on the city.
