Folks in the Marksville area are still trying to deal with the loss of five local children killed in a Florida crash last week while headed to Disney World.
Hundreds of people from Avoyelles Parish gathered last night in the grandstands of the Marksville High School football field for a candlelight vigil.
The children, ages nine to 14, were riding in a church van when they were involved in a fiery crash on I-75 near Gainesville last Thursday afternoon that also killed the drivers of two semis.
