We'll get confirmation tonight or tomorrow on just how Louisiana's two U.S. senators feel about the budget deal reached by a bi-partisan negotiating committee that includes money for a border wall.
That's when Republican senators Bill Cassidy and John Kennedy will join colleagues to vote on the legislation.
They and President Trump are still studying the bill that would allocate only $1.4 billion of the $5.7 billion that the president has demanded to construct the wall.
Thus far, Trump hasn't committed to signing the bill that would avert another partial government shutdown, saying he's looking for "landmines" in the legislation.
