A replacement is taking a vacant seat on the Jefferson Parish Council.
Keith Conley, who served as a city attorney in Kenner, was appointed yesterday to replace Chris Roberts, who has been indicted on tax evasion and wire fraud charges.
Roberts resigned before the indictment.
