A former WDSU-TV anchor is seeking a seat on the Jefferson Parish Council.
The New Orleans Advocate reports that Scott Walker should announce his campaign on Friday.
Walker, who has opened his own law firm and a donut shop in the last year, did not deny the report.
The council has two at-large seats, though Walker is said not to have decided which seat he will seek.
Sitting councilmen Ricky Templet and Paul Johnston have announced their intention to run for the seats.
