Heat Advisory Issued For New Orleans Metro Area

It's been a hot weekend for the New Orleans metro area.

Yesterday, the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for New Orleans and Baton Rouge from noon to 7 p.m.

Temperatures reached into the low 100's.

Normally, the high temperature for this time of year is in the low 90's.

Highs in the mid to upper 90's are expected to bake the region for the next few days.
