Folks in Louisiana will soon be able to have alcohol delivered to their doorstep.
The CEO of Waitr announced yesterday that the food delivery company will start alcohol deliveries in the upcoming weeks.
The move was made possible after Governor John Bel Edwards signed two bills into law making the delivery option legal.
The bill means grocery stores and liquor stores can hire their own drivers to make the booze deliveries.
