Louisiana To Help Non-Custodial Parents With Driver's License Reinstatement

The state is helping non-custodial parents with the cost to get their driver's licenses reinstated.

The "On the Road Again" project seeks to help non-custodial parents who had their licenses suspended by the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services.

Essentially, anyone who is unable to make child-support payments can get their license suspended as a consequence.

The DCFS is offering to reduce the requirements to get licenses reinstated in this limited time program.

The program runs from August 1st through September 30th.
