A volunteer baseball coach is under arrest for allegedly sexually abusing juveniles.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's office says 49-year-old William Carter Mehrhoff is accused of inappropriately touching a ten-year-old boy several years ago and constantly molesting another boy in 1994 from the age of ten until 14.
Known as "Coach Carter," Mehrhoff is said to have known at least one of the victims through the Lakeshore Playground, where he volunteered.
He is now facing sexual battery charges.
