Officials say the annual French Quarter Festival will take place two weeks later than normal in 2020.
The upcoming event will take place between April 16th and 19th in order to make more room and avoid conflicts with the NCAA Women's Final Four basketball tournament at the Smoothie King Center.
According to a French Quarter Fest spokesperson, having both events take place at the same time would put a large strain on city services.
