Three Candidates Disqualified From Governor's Race

Three candidates for governor in Louisiana have been disqualified for failing to file income tax returns.

The Secretary of State's Office confirmed the candidates were Democrat M.V. "Vinny" Mendoza and Republicans Patrick J. Doguet and Manual Russell Leach.

Now, six candidates remain in the race for governor, with the election scheduled to take place on October 12th.
