The Louisiana Department of Health is scheduling statewide flu vaccinations as flu season gets underway.
One-day flu vaccination clinics will be getting set up all around the state as a way to help mitigate the spread of the virus.
The clinics will be open to the public and drop-ins are welcomed.
Those who attend are asked to bring their insurance card and to wear loose fitting or short sleeves. Anyone without insurance will receive the vaccine free of charge.
