Governor's Runoff Debate Gets Heated

Voters are reacting to the final debate last night between the two major-party candidates running for Governor of Louisiana.

Current governor John Bel Edwards and challenger Eddie Rispone answered questions from a panel of journalists but traded blows at each other most of the debate.

Edwards defended his stance as a moderate who looks for compromise while Rispone cited support for the elimination of the state's personal income tax.

Election Day is November 16th with early voting set to begin this Saturday, November 2nd.
