Long Lines At TSA Reported At Airport As New Terminal Works Out Kinks

Passengers are reporting long lines and wait times getting through security at the new north terminal at Louis Armstrong International Airport.

Travelers posted about their experiences yesterday on social media, saying some had waited an hour or more to get through TSA checkpoints while others were upset about surging rideshare prices to the airport.

TSA officials responded to complaints saying they are currently fully staffed at the airport, but Sundays are a peak travel day.

Passengers did post praise for the look and construction of the new terminal.
