The Orleans Parish School Board is approving a recommendation to revoke the charters of Joseph A. Craig and Mary D. Coghill schools.
The board voted 4-2 last night in favor of a recommendation by Superintendent Henderson Lewis, who is against renewing both charters.
Lewis said he based his recommendation on a number of different metrics that the schools failed to meet.
