Vigil Held For Three Men Lost In Boat Collision On The Mississippi River

Mourners are remembering the three crewmembers of the RC Creppal who were lost when the boat crashed into another vessel on Sunday.

At a vigil last night, friends and family gathered in Bay St. Louis on Washington Pier to remember the men who have not been located since the RC Creppal sank.

Shawn Pucheu, Matthew Brigalia, and Lester Naquin were aboard the RC Creppal when it collided with the Cooperative Spirit near the Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge.

The U.S. Coast Guard searched for the men for over 90 hours before suspending its operations, but says they are still sending patrols into the area in case signs of the missing men appear around levees.
