New Orleans Officials Say All Computers Back Online Following Cyberattack

Officials with the city of New Orleans say all of their servers have now been cleared from the effects of last month's cyberattack.

Information Technology Director Kim LaGrue said yesterday that all city employees were now able to access programs on over 3,000 government computers.

New Orleans' cyber systems were hit by the ransomware attack back on December 13th, which forced delays in many city services.

Estimates put the cost of cleaning and restoring the city's computers at around $7 million, with half of that total covered by insurance.
