Mardi Gras season is kicking into high gear as several krewes prepare to roll this weekend in New Orleans.
Tonight, Krewe Boheme will start the festivities with a parade through Marigny and the French Quarter starting on Franklin Avenue.
Three krewes will roll on Saturday with the Krewe du Vieux and Krewe-Delusion in the French Quarter and Poseidon in Slidell.
Sunday will be packed with six parades starting with Little Rascals at noon in Metairie, Krewe of Nefertiti at 1 p.m. in New Orleans East, Slidellians and Perseus both in Slidell, while 'tit Rex will be in Marigny, and Pearl River Lions rolling in Pearl River.
