New Orleans Airport Plans To Begin $40 Million Taxiway Extension This Fall

Funding is in place for a $40 million taxiway extension at Louis Armstrong International Airport to begin this fall.

More than $9 million of the $40 million price tag is federal funding.

The project will extend taxiways that connect to the airport's east-west runway and provide additional aircraft access.
