A father from Slidell is filing to a complaint to the police after being arrested outside of a Walmart for cursing at his son.
Kevin Mitchell says he and his family arrived at a Walmart when his son almost hit a police truck next to their vehicle.
Police Captain Kevin Swann was inside the vehicle and overheard the father telling his son not to do that.
Mitchell was arrested when he and his family were done shopping.
The Slidell Police Department issued a statement claiming they will investigate the altercation and said that using profanity in public can warrant an arrest.
