Louisiana To Run Out Of Available Ventilators Soon

Louisiana officials are warning that hospitals could be out of ventilators for patients by April.

Governor John Bel Edwards says that the state's ventilator capacity is far from OK and they could be completely out by the first week of April.

The state is currently seeking to add about 2,000 ventilators, but COVID-19 cases continue to surge.

Nearly 500 of all the confirmed patients are in the hospital and about 163 are on ventilators.
