Louis Armstrong International Airport is ranking third among airports in the country for the number of TSA employees who have been infected by the coronavirus.
According to reports, 26 TSA employees, along with 25 officers who screen passengers, who work at Armstrong Airport in Kenner have contracted COVID-19 during the pandemic.
The most-recently diagnosed of those agents last worked at the New Orleans-owned airport on April 7th.
Taking the top two spots is John F. Kennedy International in New York City, which had 89 employees test positive and Newark Liberty International, which had 44 employees test positive.
