State Reports Highest Jump In Coronavirus Cases In Over A Week

Louisiana is reporting its highest jump in coronavirus cases in over a week.

Governor John Bel Edwards noted yesterday some of the numbers could be because test results were delayed from Sunday.

There were 32 new deaths bringing the total to 1,328, however the governor is still confident things are trending in the right direction.

Edwards says he talked to Vice President Mike Pence today about the need for more testing.

He also noted there are ten days left in the stay at home order for Louisiana but did not say if he planned to extend it.
