LSU held a virtual commencement ceremony Friday for its graduates due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The live stream event featured a year-in-review video, a rendition of the national anthem from Louisiana native and Grammy winner Lauren Daigle, opera singer Lisette Oropesa performing LSU's alma mater, and the names of the graduates displayed at Tiger Stadium.
Speakers at the ceremony included interim President Tom Galligan, Provost Stacia Haynie, and messages from LSU alumni.
A physical graduation ceremony is still planned for the 2020 Class to be announced at a later date.
