SpaceX & Tulane Grad Try To Launch Dragon Capsule Again Tomorrow

Astronaut and Tulane graduate Colonel Doug Hurley is set to get another chance to launch into space tomorrow.

Hurley and fellow astronaut Robert Behnken will go for a second attempt to launch the new SpaceX Dragon Capsule to the International Space Station on Saturday at 2:22 p.m. central time.

The capsule was originally scheduled to lift off on Wednesday but was scrubbed 16 minutes before launch because of bad weather.

Hurley is the commander of the mission and graduated from Tulane in 1988, and later joined NASA as a pilot on two space shuttle missions, including its final flight in 2011.
