The state is honoring the accomplishments of former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow by naming a road after the Heisman Trophy winner.
Officials confirmed yesterday that the street signs for the new Burrow Road off Highland Road near LSU Avenue and the campus are already in place.
A native of Athens, Ohio, Burrow came to LSU as a graduate transfer out of Ohio State and led the Tigers to a perfect 15-0 season and the College Football National Championship in 2019.
Burrow is currently working out as he prepares for his rookie season in the NFL as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals.
