Vice President Mike Pence will visit Baton Rouge today to meet with Governor John Bel Edwards.
Pence is scheduled to have a meeting at LSU's Tiger Stadium with Edwards to talk about coronavirus safety and university sports programs reopening in the fall.
The vice president will host a press conference with the governor before returning to Washington, D.C.
