Officials investigating a shooting on Monday in the 7th Ward that killed a nine-year-old boy say a teenager who was wounded in the shooting was the target.
Investigators said yesterday they believe a 15-year-old who was shot in the leg during the incident that killed Davonte Bryant and wounded another teen nearby was the intended target.
Police say the shooter approached the victims on foot and then may have escaped in a white two-door Jeep Wrangler with no plates.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
