The 2020 installment of the St. Tammany Parish Fair has been canceled.
Organizers announced that the event will not go on this year due to coronavirus restrictions.
The decision came Monday during a meeting of organizers considering their options for the fair, which was scheduled to be held the first weekend of October at the Parish Fairgrounds in Covington.
The postponement marks the third time the fair has been pushed back ever. The first two were because of the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic.
