Carnival Cruise Lines Announces More New Orleans Cancellations Into 2021

Officials at Carnival Cruise Lines say they are canceling all cruises for one of their New Orleans-based ships until early 2021.

The company announced yesterday that the Carnival Valor will be dry-docked as it undergoes maintenance as part of an enhancement program.

Launched in 2004, the Valor usually operates four to five-day cruises year-round to Cozumel and Progreso in Mexico but will not sail again until April next year.

The cancellation will also affect the Valor's planned transatlantic trip from New Orleans to Spain, which had been set for January.
