The Louisiana Department of Health reported only 371 additional COVID-19 cases statewide on Wednesday, bringing the running tally since the pandemic began to 185,144.
Hospitalizations rose by just four to 623, and the number of patients on ventilators went down by seven to 77.
The death toll from the coronavirus rose by nine to 5,746.
