New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees says he pulled himself from the team's 27-13 victory over the San Francisco 49ers because of an upper-body injury.
Brees told reporters after the game that he felt wasn't going to be effective in the second-half after being sacked on a play that drew a personal foul from the refs.
Saints running back Alvin Kamara scored three touchdowns and combined for 140-yards in the win.
Brees says he will evaluate the injury on a day-to-day basis as the team prepares to play Atlanta next Sunday.
