Brandon Ingram is committing to the New Orleans Pelicans for years to come.
ESPN reported the Pelicans agreed to a five-year deal worth $158 million.
Ingram surpassed expectations in his first season with the team and averaged 23.4 points per game.
He unexpectedly seized the reigns as the team's primary scoring option and was named an All-Star in February.
