The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 3,102 COVID-19 cases statewide Friday, bringing the total number of reported cases since the pandemic began to 247,177.
Of that number, LDH says 232,479 are confirmed cases and 14,698 are considered probable cases.
The death toll from COVID-19 rose by 24 to 6,548. Hospitalization increased by 31 to 1,357 with 154 patients on ventilators, up 12 from Thursday.
