The Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,423 hospitalized with COVID-19 Monday, an increase of 31 from Sunday. Of those patients, 161 are on ventilators, a decrease of one from yesterday.
The total number of reported cases stood at 252,136, up 1,016 from the previous day. Of those, 236,879 are confirmed cases and 15,257 are probable.
The death toll rose by 23 to 6,607.
