LSU Men's Basketball Coach Will Wade Confirms Positive COVID-19 Test

LSU men's basketball head coach Will Wade says he is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.

Wade confirmed yesterday that he originally went into quarantine because of contract tracing and then tested positive for the virus, causing him to miss the Tigers win over Sam Houston State on Monday.

Wade says he is doing well but has lost his sense of taste, which is a well-known symptom associated with COVID-19.

LSU says Wade will miss the Tigers' game on Wednesday versus New Orleans and will be replaced by Associate head coach Bill Armstrong.
