Health officials are teaming up with NOLA Public Schools to announce a tentative vaccination plan for teachers.
The state is currently in Phase 1B, Tier 1 of vaccinations, which includes school nurses and other health care providers.
Teachers, administrators and staff fall into the next category, according to New Orleans Health Director Dr. Jennifer Avegno.
The folks in Tier 2 could receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as early as next month.
