The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 1,393 COVID-19 cases Tuesday. The total number of reported cases in Louisiana since the pandemic began stood at 426,048.
The death toll rose by 26 to 9,503.
There were 715 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus, down 25 overnight. Of those, 111 were on a ventilator, two fewer than Monday.
