The COVID-19 positivity rate in Orleans Parish has improved yet again.
The Louisiana Department of Health announced Wednesday that the positivity rate has dropped to just under 2% in the parish.
The new percentage is a slight decrease from last week's 2.1%.
In Orleans Parish, there was an average of 118 new cases per day in January. For February so far, cases are averaging nearly 50 cases per day.
