The Louisiana Department of Health reported Friday the total number of patients hospitalized due to COVID-19 had fallen to 478 statewide, 36 fewer than Thursday.
The number of patients on ventilators was lower by one to 63.
LDH also reported 528 additional coronavirus cases, which pushed the total number of reported cases to 436,482.
The death toll rose by 33 to 9,861.
