The Louisiana Department of Health reported 709 new COVID-19 cases and seven additional deaths Tuesday.
The total number of cases stood at 441,771 with 10,037 deaths blamed on the coronavirus.
There were 404 patients fighting COVID-19 in hospitals statewide. Of those, 74 were on venitlators.
