As eligibility for COVID-19 vaccines expands in Louisiana, state health officials reported that 1,842,453 doses in total administered as of Monday, an increase of 123,596 since last week.
720,598 out of 1,174,213 vaccine series, in which someone has received all the required doses, are now complete.
The Louisiana Department of Health also reported 413 new COVID-19 cases Monday with 35 additional deaths.
The total number of cases since the pandemic began stood at 443,905 with 10,122 deaths blamed on the coronavirus.
There remain 362 patients hospitalized with COVID. Of those, 62 are on ventilators.
