The Louisiana Department of Health reported 198 new COVID-19 cases and nine additional deaths Tuesday.
The total number of cases as of April 6 was 446,955 with 10,174 deaths.
Hospitalizations rose by seven to 299 statewide with 47 patients on ventilators, two fewer than Monday.
